I've heard that polaroids are set to be extinct by the time the company closes up (but I recently checked their website, they have a new set of digital polaroids). Personally I've never seen or touched one. When I was a child what fascinates me of it is the instant print.
Am not sure were I got this link but I was able to make images into polaroid-like shots. Poladroid is easy to use and fun. Even Justine Timberlake loves it ;)
