Expat na ako

I'm officially an OFW/expat. Tagged as the "Bagong Bayani."

We are powerful (look at what happened to Malu Fernandez).

We remit our hard-earned money to stimulate the economy.

To tell you frankly its a bittersweet glory. There's always a price to pay. We have our mortal enemies in the likes of homesickness and loneliness. Add up to it are the abuses and discrimination that some of us are experiencing.

I have to be strong, like any other OFW who lasted this long ( Idol ko si Dad OFW din siya). Everyone has their own reasons of being here. As for me, I have dreams that's soon to be my future. If I want to be THERE, I'm stepping up to the game.

Don't worry I won't step on anyone along the way.
