Singapore is also a FRIENDLY city

I remember one relative (of a patient) who once worked in SG, told me that it's a FINE city

And it's very fine indeed.

Frankly speaking this rule serves a purpose because I can see that many are still pasaway. But on a brighter side, I appreciate everything efficient on this country.

It's a friendly city after all. Here's what I noticed during my 2 months stay

  • Jogger friendly - Sidewalks and path-walks are suited for joggers and runners. What I like the best are the park connectors.
  • Cycler friendly - Sidewalks are built to serve bicycles.
  • Shopping friendly - From the designer brands, exclusive brands, factory outlets and up-and-coming fashion. They got it.
  • Shopper friendly - Good customer service (most of the time).
  • Green City - Trees everywhere!
  • Safety First - Safety is their first concern at all times. I feel safe walking at night. But, do not test the law. Low crime rate doesn't mean NO crime.
  • Tourist Friendly - Signage are all in English so you won't get lost. Or you can find your way back easily. And there are maps everywhere.
  • Photography Friendly - There's a different feel of colors. It's vibrant and alive in some ways that makes you want to take photos every-time.
  • Photographer Friendly - You don't worry having your camera being snatched.
  • Commuter Friendly - The train and bus system are very efficient. The bus system is confusing at first. But you'll get a hang of it (if you'll stay for quite some time). One thing I want to change with the bus system are the 'hell drivers' (those who makes sharp turns, brakes suddenly, hits the gas pedal abruptly) very scary.
I still have 23 more months to find  out more about this multi-cultural city. Have to add more for this FRIENDLY list.

xoxo
