Happy Halloween!

I just hope only a few people (or better yet no one) will be wearing a naughty nurse costume.

The Halloween celebration here is no trick-or-treat type. I find it more like wearing costumes just for fun. So I guess I'll be seeing vampires and glow in the dark horns. Not to mention the SCREAM mask.

I went for a jog a couple of minutes ago. I was surprised to see a bunch of kids huddling in the stairs of the PCN. I guess they're off to hunt for ghosts. Good luck to you, I hope that ghost monkeys won't come your way.

We don't celebrate Halloween the PHL. We have the All Saint's Day which is something like a day of obligation for us Catholics to go to mass on November 1. Also to commemorate our departed loved ones that's supposed to be November 2 for the All Soul's Day.

I could still remember the days we spent in the PHL come November 1. When we were younger, we're fond of watching the Halloween special of Magandang Gabi Bayan (hosted by former VP Noli de Castro). It's also a reunion of sorts come this day for we always have a gathering in the cemetery where cousins from all degrees and consanguinity would come. As I grow older I was missing it every time because of work. Ah, memories...those were the days...

I'm thinking of doing some "writing" everyday but sometimes my brain won't work...Aarghh
I want to explore more blogs...
I want to "write" something about the picture that I took for this day...

Hay buhay parang life

I've promised myself over and over again that I want to blog as much to constantly orient myself to the GOOD english that I know, to have a medium of release, hone my creative juices and earn money as well. But I'm not doing it, what's happening to me. Am too pre-occupied with shitty things? And to think that I have a very good and fast access to the internet, my own laptop and iPod touch.

As 10-10-10 ends...

I'm not giving birth or getting married today so here's my thoughts for this lucky 10-10-10.


Amidst all the hullabaloos of the past few months, I still thank the Lord for all the wonderful blessings He has given me. Even though 60% of the time I'm either complaining, annoyed, frustrated or crying  this is no reason to sour grape for the rest of my friggin' life. Life is hard and sometimes unfair but if life is any easier I don't know of what would have become of me.

There's always the bright side and I'm always looking forward it.

Also to the people who have been part of my so-called life THANK YOU. I can't mention everybody's name coz in one way or another everyone has molded me of what I am today.

Pero special mention na din kina mum, dad, kc, cha-mu, penggy and seffy ;)
Pati sa pets in heaven I hope cool na cool kayo dyan sa heaven. (O di ba parang bati lang sa radyo)

Dancing is one of my biggest frustrations

I can't help but admire the dancers from So You Think You Could Dance... They're just so great. I want to dance just like them but I'm a hopeless case. ;)






What stopped me from dancing? When I was a kid I always get some 'libak' due to the awkward height level and some staring eyes. Makapal na talaga ang mukha ko dati so I dance at my own tune, but sometimes the peer pressure influence prevails so I ended frustrated until today. Watching ABDC, SYTYCD, the Step Up Series are my guilty pleasure.

Now I'm loving the Twilex hiphop routine.

Harry Shum Jr.

a.k.a Mike Chang, the other Asian guy is IRRESISTIBLE!!! He has this boy-next-door charm and a dope dancing skill! (not to mention those yummy abs).

I first saw him in Step Up 2, I know that's he's good-looking and all that. Since then,  I could recognize his face even if he's at the background most of the time. And now that he recurred his role in Glee (as Mike Chang) with more speaking parts as well, I hope that he goes a long way.

BTW, I heard that his gf is Pinay :)
